Boulevard was launched in 2014 by Jovana Pavic – a versatile communications professional with more than 15 years of experience in brand promotion, social media management and media relations.
The idea originally started as a blog documenting a two-month road trip across the US. It featured travel tips, accommodation and restaurant recommendations, and sightseeing options. The trip was done in collaboration with various tourism boards, hotel groups and a partnership with Bold Traveller.

Meet Jovana

Jovana is driven by adventure and her love for writing has been reinforced throughout a 15-year career. She graduated from Ryerson University with a Bachelor Degree in Journalism and has worked in PR and communications roles for various companies.
Her career began with an internship at CBC Television’s London Bureau. Here, she honed her skills in research, story pitching, and content production. She then embarked on a path in the travel industry starting out as a Journalist at PAX Global Media Inc. and Open Jaw Network; an influencer at Thomas Cook; and a Communications Specialist at Air Canada Vacations.
Her passion for storytelling and strategic communication led her to oversee the marketing department at Glass of Learning Inc., followed by a transition into the construction and architecture industry. She served as a Content Specialist at Chandos Construction, and Digital Content Manager at NORR.
Jovana’s goal with Boulevard is to help brands manage their marketing needs, and guide them in best practices. Her dedication to writing, and creating impactful and meaningful stories remains at the heart of Boulevard’s mission.
