My love affair with the W Hotel began more than two months ago in Atlanta, GA.
I was coming off of a seven hour drive and I just wanted to get into my room. But, as soon as I pulled up to the W Atlanta-Buckhead hotel and walked into the lobby I was floored: antlers hung from chandeliers and country chic inspired furniture and designs were scattered throughout. I would often hope for rainy days so that I could spend all my time inside and enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of the W.
In fact, all of the W hotels have their own special design touch and I had the privilege of experiencing three different properties in the east, south and west: W Atlanta-Buckhead; W Dallas-Victory and the W San Diego.

Hood Perks: The W Buckhead-Atlanta is located in the city’s high-end shopping districts Lenox Square and Phipps Plaza that feature shops such as Bvlgari, Louis Vuitton and Michael Kors and restaurants such as Prime and Which Wich.
Hotel Perks: The hotel has a “country-club cool” feel with the most prominent decor features found in the Living Room. Designed by Thom Filicia, the Living Room includes over sized furniture with black, white and red colour schemes and patterns; board games and books; and a DJ. On the 12th floor of the hotel, guests will find Whiskey Blue Atlanta, considered to be the hippest rooftop bar in the city.

Hood Perks: The W Dallas-Victory is located in Victory Plaza which includes high-end entertainment venues such as the American Airlines Arena, home of the Dallas Mavericks basketball team. The hotel is also a short walk to the Uptown and Turtle Park shopping districts, and the historic Dealey Plaza and JFK Memorial.
Hotel Perks: The hotel has 252 rooms and suites; 11,000 sq. ft. of meeting space; and a Bliss Spa. It is also a hot spot for celebrities! Many of them hang out at the W’s panoramic infinity edge pool and Living Room bar, and several have apartments in the hotel’s residence property.

Hood Perks: The W hotel in San Diego is located downtown and is minutes away from the Gaslamp Quarter and Little Italy, the city’s most popular hangouts featuring countless bars and restaurants. Seaport Village, Coronado Island and the San Diego Beaches are also a quick drive away.
Hotel Perks: The hotel recently underwent a US$5 million renovation restoring its Living Room and Rooftop Bar. It has also introduced Kelvin, a new restaurant exclusive to the W that features contemporary cuisine with a touch of Latin flavours. The W San Diego boasts 258 guest rooms and suites, as well as meeting and event spaces and a pool.
